Hydramotion specialises in the design and manufacture of on-line and portable viscosity measuring instruments for industrial processes. On-line viscometers can be installed in any location, in any orientation and in vessels or pipelines of any capacity. High-temperature models operate up to 450 °C with no need for special cooling. All on-line viscometers are available in intrinsically safe versions certified for use in Hazardous Areas. The battery-operated Viscolite portable viscometer is ideal for on-the-spot measurement of viscosity in the lab, factory or field. The solid-rod sensor is simply dipped into the fluid and viscosity is displayed immediately on the accompanying readout unit. After use, the sensor can quickly be rinsed and wiped clean. All Hydramotion viscometers are factory-calibrated using certified viscosity standards traceable to NIST and require no on-site recalibration.
