The position switches MN78 are the successful answer to an increased demand of the market. The contacts of these new series are specially designed for switching low currents. The MN78 is a completely metal version of the position switch, which scores points for reliably fulfilling its task even in harsh environments, outdoors or under high mechanical stress. • High reliability at low currents (1 mA / 24 VDC) • Up to 4 contacts • Enclosure: Die-cast aluminium • Cover: Aluminium • Easy turning (8 x 45° ) and changing of the actuators without a tool • Standard switch and standard actuator according to DIN EN 50041 • Protection class IP66 and IP67 according to EN 60529

The aluminium pressure die-cast protective shroud (F3: aluminium sand casting) fully shields the pedal at the top and sides while the wide base provides a high degree of stability. It reliably prevents accidental operation from above by falling objects or careless operation from the side. Due to its robust construction the protective shroud withstands a drop of 20 kg from a height of 1 m. The foot switch is uniquely designed to allow inclusion of additional equipment: — Emergency Stop button — Contactor on DIN rail as main power switch — Customized installations (e.g. light indicators)

These basic enclosures are of similar dimensions except for its width that come in the variance of one, two and three pedals.
