AS-Schweißtechnik GmbH is a family-run company with 15 employees. Ever since 1980, we have been producing stud welding units, accessories, stud welding machinery and welding studs from our 900 m² site. 1980: Company established by Hans-Joachim Arnhold. 1980-1990: Developing new equipment technology and expanding business areas. 1990: Construction of the current main building for administration, equipment production and stud storage. 1998: Expansion of the new building to include storage and production facility for special equipment. 2000: Into the second generation as Martin Arnhold joins the company. 2008: Introduction of the ISO 9001 quality standard. December 2013: Company founder Hans-Joachim Arnhold hands the company over to his son, Martin, and begins his well earned retirement. We operate in more than 50 countries around the world.

Founded by my grandfather in 1946, our family-run company has been continually developing ever since in line with the market requirements – from a spare parts manufacturer for the mining industry to an inter- nationally renowned specialist in power transmission engineering. Today, we develop and produce torsionally flexible couplings at a high level of vertical integration under the REICH-KUPPLUNGEN brand. These products are predominantly used for combustion engines in stationary and mobile applications – for example in power generation plants, in construction machinery, in commercial vehicles, in railway engineering, and in the shipbuilding industry.
