The heavy duty draw cable holds the weight of the system. Intensive tests in the igus® laboratory have proven the extraordinary load bearing capacity of the offshore chain.

The T3 system combines smooth operation, low noise, simple assembly, and economy. The side bands, which snap together, replace a conventional pin and bore connection and prevent relative movements between the joints giving extremely low wear. This means virtually no wear or abrasion (cleanroom). The t-band's geometry means that hardly any polygon effect is generated when the energy chain is placed. The t-band therefore rolls in a very smooth arc, giving extremely low vibration and noise. In order to reduce the manufacturing and installation costs, the t-band is not mounted individually, but – much like the E3 system – in an eight-link length. Due to its low mass, the t-band is suitable for applications with low fill weights and short strokes combined with high speeds and accelerations.

Aside from the tried-and-tested uses of the E6, the new generation offers additional advantages which significantly simplify operation. Upper run guide for long travels, unsupported in swarf areas Especially in machine tools on long travels, when the energy chain has to be used in a sliding manner, metallic swarf is a problem. guidelok is the cost-effective solution for travels, unsupported up to 50m. The guidelok horizontal is more cost-effective than many steel chains or complex sliding systems. Safely guide many different cables in a confined space with e-spool. e-spool uniquely combines two different energy supply systems: one standard energy chain is guided by a roller, providing the correct length and tension of the energy supply system through an integrated spring. In the home position, the energy chain is completely rolled up to save space. FTA Floating moving end Compensate parallel errors The igus® compensator for gliding applications with E2/000 and small E4.1 energy chains. At moving arms with strong lateral offset the floating moving end provides for a compensation and therefore for a force-free run of the energy chain in the guide trough. Special heat resisting and wear resisting materials are needed in the limestone and cement production. Already since many years we develop and supply high quality casting parts that fulfill these requirements and extend the service time of your production facilities. In order to achieve this, we produce tailored products in close collaboration with our customers that are designed to meet the special demands. We also consult you in questions regarding the choice of the materials and the design. In addition to that, CS-specific-materials and CS-design-developments show our capability.

The grinding and the combustion of natural resources such as wood and coal for energy production causes abrasive and thermal wear and decreases the service time of its wearing parts. For problems we offer you a consistent solution: we develop and supply ready to install wear-cast-parts made out of heat resisting gray cast iron, highly heat resisting stainless steel casting and wear resisting heat treatable steel. The use of CS-specific-materials results in a higher service life. Our grate bars can be found in roller grates, feed grates, traveling grates or horizontal grates. The development and manufacturing of water-cooled grate bars is also part of our product line. Our services include the preinstallation of single grate lines in order to check the dimensional stability and quality. We can also offer customer specific solutions for the entry area and the outrun area of rotary kilns in the field of grinding tools and crushing tools.
