RK tube connectors – the flexible alternative to welded connections The clampable tube connectors from RK Rose+Krieger are a cost-efficient solution for the positive and ready detachable connection of a diverse variety of systems – without the need for drilling and welding. Depending on the field of application and the expected load, RK Rose+Krieger offers tube connectors made of plastic (Light Clamps), aluminium (Solid Clamps) or stainless steel (Robust Clamps). The Solid Clamps tube connector system also includes the RK monitor mounting for the fixation and ergonomic adjustment of monitors and touch screens used in industrial applications. Say goodbye to welding – that could be the motto of the clampable RK tube connectors The simple assembly technology of the clamping elements eliminates the need for time-consuming and cost-intensive drilling and welding work.

The coupling can be shut off to allow for an easy and reliable connection. There is usually a risk of aggressive gases or liquids escaping during coupling operations. Supply lines can be connected and disconnected quickly and frequently with the 3K quick connector because the lock seals off the line before the coupling is undone. To connect or disconnect the coupling, simply actuate the sliding sleeve.

The flexible tube is pushed onto the integrated connecting sleeve of the 1A flexible tube con-nector. By tightening the knurled nut, the clamping ring presses against the flexible tube and fixes it in place. The connecting sleeve for the flexible tube is nearly cylindrical. Its dimensions are calculated to prevent tube strain over 6%, even with poor tolerances. The tension produced by the low tube strain is sufficient by itself to guarantee a tight flexible tube connection up to 6 bar. The clamping ring and knurled nut secure the connection against longitudinal forces which could otherwise pull the flexible tube off the connecting sleeve. The clamping ring is designed to secure the flexible tube in place by intercepting any shear or tor-sional stresses. This allows for usage up to 10 bar*. Thanks to its elasticity, the clamping ring can be used several times in the same connector.

The flexible tube is widened when it is pushed onto the integrated connecting sleeve of the 1B flexible tube connector. The tube is secured in place by means of a knurled nut acting on the flexible tube and the connecting sleeve. The connector permanently has a pressure stage of PN 10. Easily able to withstand a brief pressure peaks of up to 30 bar at T= 20°C.

The 3C Tri-Clamp connector is easy to use: Simply press the two flange-like connector pieces against each other and fasten them together using the locking clip. A sealing ring is situated between the connector pieces to maintain a proper seal. The resulting connection is form-fit and smooth and a wing nut on the locking clip makes it easy to quickly open and close the connection at any time. The Tri-Clamp connection can be combined with a 1+, 1A or 1C flexible tube connector, a 2N pipe connector or a male thread.

The 3G glass thread apapter is used as a connecting element between the laboratory glass cylinder with GL thread and the connection for flexible tube. The connector features a rotating nut with GL thread on the one hand and a G male thread or connecting elements on the other hand. Various connection elements, flexible tubes and pipes can be fitted in this way.

The special design of the 1W+ makes it possible to slide the corrugated flexible tube directly onto the slightly conical connecting sleeve inside the connector body. Then when the pressure screw is threaded in, the corrugated flexible tube is fixed in place on the connecting sleeve. No extra clamping ring is necessary because it is integrated into the pressure screw. That means the connector consists of only two parts, which makes handling considerably easier.

This connector is specially designed for mesh-reinforced flexible tubes. As all of the Generation+ connectors, it consists of only two parts: the connector body and the pressure screw. The clamping ring is incorporated into the pressure screw. An extra clamping ring is not required. The thread and connecting sleeve are integrated inside in the connector body. The advantage: they cannot be damaged and are protected against external effects.

The flexible tube for the connector 1D is first thermally widened and then pushed on the integrated connecting sleeve. The tube is secured in place by means of a knurled nut acting on the flexible tube. Thanks to the form-fit connection between the connecting sleeve and flexible tube, the connector has no dead volume.

The tube filter is a compact, economical and versatile filter available either as a particle filter or as a coalescence filter. It is easy to use and filter changes can be made quickly. It is fitted with an female thread and is also available with a shut-off or drain feature. In the COMPACT version, the tube filter is already equipped with integrated flexible tube connectors.

The 1M micro connector was developed especially for medical, pharmaceutical and analytical technology. It provides ideal connection features for PFA, silicon or Tygon® flexible tubes. The micro connector consists of a connector body with integrated conical connecting sleeve, a knurled nut for fixing the flexible tube and a slotted pressure ring. The pressure ring can be omitted for PFA flexible tubes.

Flexible copper connectors for earthing straps, current leads and connectors with different constructions regarding customer specification. As prematerial for our customised connectors a lot of different materials can be used, mostly high flexible strands and braids made from Cu-ETP1 and Cu-OF1, LEONI Histral® alloys, stainless steel and aluminium upon request, in bare, tin-plated, nickel-plated and silver-plated. Depending on the customer requirements we can combine different contact elements and isolation materials. No matter if you need individual parts or large-scale production, we can guarantee a short development time and fast response. Flexible copper connectors are suitable for power transmission and potential equalisation / grounding.

Compact braided square and rectangular copper flexibles made from Cu-ETP1, Cu-OF1 and LEONI Histral® alloys (upon request) in bare, tin-plated or silver-plated. Single-wire diameter ranging from Ø 0.05 mm to Ø 0.20 mm. Cross-section ranging from 0.47 mm² to 50 mm² (further dimensions upon request). Square copper braids require less space in comparison to round copper braids with the same cross-section. There is a precise positioning owing to square or rectangular shape, which allows for failure-free and fully automated downstream manufacture. Squre or rectangular copper braids are characterised by very good Flex life, being absolute free from twist, a compact cutting surface, a very high degree of dimensional accuracy and a very long lifetime. Compact braided square and rectangular copper flexibles are particularly suitable for applications in carbon brushes industry, connection technology, switches and aviation industry.

Compact braided round copper flexibles made from Cu-ETP1 and Cu-OF1, LEONI Histral® alloys upon request, in bare, tin-plated, nickel-plated or silver-plated, in hard or soft annealed. Single-wire diameter ranging from Ø 0.05 mm to Ø 0.10 mm. Cross-section ranging from 0.047 mm² to 25 mm² (bigger cross-sections upon request). Round copper braids are characterised by a very high degree of dimensional accuracy and a very high Flex life. They are absolute free from twist and support an automatic further processing. Compact braided round copper flexibles are particularly suitable for carbon brushes industry, connection technology, switches or aviation industry.

Due to change in weather (wind, sun, snow...), pipe systems of solar thermal systems are subject to thermal expansion, to vibration, to make in short; various movements that have to be compensated in order to keep the system stable. Mera Bellows manufactures stainless steel expansion joints, formed from thin-walled seam-welded tubes, that are widely used for this scope of application.
