Bentley-Harris® Textalu 1202 is an insulative fiberglass sleeving with a heavy aluminum coating designed to protect components in high temperature areas. It provides superior insulation to components that must maintain stable temperatures to assure performance efficiency. Textalu 1202 is used on wire harnesses, sensor control wiring and cable assemblies in close proximity to engines and exhaust systems. Due to its elastic structure, Textalu 1202 conforms well to the variable profiles of the components it protects. Its braided construction allows good flexibility in temperatures as low as -50°C. The infra-red emissivity rating of Textalu 1202 heavy aluminum coating, combined with its fiberglass braid, ensures temperature stability inside the Textalu sleeving despite frequent external temperature fluctuations due to radiant heat.

Automated control and manipulation of fine wire as small as 50AWG allows for twisting, cabling, reel-to-reel laser processing, and precisely ablated discreet lengths for applications that range from subcutaneous biometric sensors to implanted pacing leads and high-density wire harnesses for imaging catheters. High-density wire harness assembly is vertically integrated made possible through a combination of fine wire cabling and the dressing and termination of high-count cable to tight pitched circuitry.

A box build assembly includes all the other assembly work involved in an electro-mechanical assembly, other than the manufacturing of the PCBA. A box build assembly is also sometimes called “turnkey assembly”. Moreover, it consists of an outside box/enclosure, inner PCBA, interface keypad, wire-harness, connectors, displays, keyboards, etc. Assemble all components and parts to be a full and completed product that can be directly sent to the customer for selling is just box-build assembly. Corrugated tubes are used to protect cable wires and cable harnesses. When cutting this corrugated tube sheathing to length, it is important to cut precisely and reliably on the crest of the shaft, to avoid forming sharp cutting edges which damage the in-drawn cable wires.
