The secutex forkshank protection is a special design with a hollow profile and foam insert. For example, it is suited to the transport of delicate drums on EURpallets. The colliding of the drums is absorbed through the flexible foam padding, whilst the impact of the pallet is absorbed through the sturdy hollowprofile design. Usages include, for example, transport in the chemical or glass industries. The forkshank protection is attached to the fork shanks via steel bands and is thus easily exchangeable.

Easy and flexible to use and can be fixed reliably with the perforated plate as reinforcement. In this way, you will have a universal impact protection in a short time. Size and quantity of the drill holes depend on the substructure and must be specified on site. Selection of the screws We recommend screw sizes up to a maximum of 6mm, any larger dimension does not provide additional strength in combination with the castin perforated plate. As screws we recommend hexagon socket screws with low head according to DIN 7984 or DIN 6912. The secutex material may be sawn using a conventional band saw. The material will attempt to resist the cutting tool. Use as low a wedge angle as possible and, if necessary, adjust the cutting speed.

“Heat”resistant buffer pad For hot processing. Nonferrous metals, such as gold, copper or brass, get hot during processing and have a sensitive surface. Rollers and cylinders coated with secutex Heat protect bar stock during production; abrasion and run marks are reliably avoided. Operating temperature up to 140°C Apart from the positive mechanical and chemical properties, secutex Heat is an elastomer material for operating temperatures up to a maximum of 140°C. Operating temperature up to 180°C As an option, „Heat“ can be finished with an aramide fibre surface. The operating temperature thereby even increases to a maximum of 180°C.

When screwing or welding are not possible, impact protection can be affixed with secutex special stickers.

secutex special profiles offer a particularly high crumple zone due to their hollow cavities. The particularly robust secutex buffer pad pushes the profile back into its original shape after loading. The robust design dampens noise during impact and protects the fragile goods.

As opposed to secutex Soft, the SoftPad forms a fully sealed outer skin that protects the material from liquid and dirt penetration from all sides.

Activeabsorption impact protection If secutex Soft is coated by a Powerflex surface, dirt particles and liquids are prevented from penetrating the foam. Additionally, openpore material protects against abrasion, without losing its elastic properties.

Again and again, coils with larger internal diameters than expected have to be processed on coilers. Here the secutex coiler sheath offers a simple and flexible solution to the problem. Enlargement of the internal diameter The handy secutex coiler sheath is simply pushed onto the coil mandrel and enlarges the radius to the required size. The timeconsuming assembly of subcomponents is no longer necessary. Prevention of dents Thanks to the high friction of the secutex material, the coil cannot slip and, in some cases, the contact pressure can be significantly reduced. The typical impressions in the initial winding layers are prevented and material wastage is significantly reduced. The secutex material is extremely wearresistant and, unlike standard rubber, is also oilresistant. The insertion tip helps thread the coils.

Impact protection is screwed to the floor and serves as collision protection, e.g. on shelves, highspeed doors. The peripheral impactprotection cover absorbs the energy of collisions from forklifts and pallet trucks. As a result, longer service lifetimes can be achieved in comparison to conventional steel angles.

Required protection according to StVZO What is required on public roads cannot be wrong in factory traffic! If the forklift is driven on public roads without load, then the use of a warning bar is prescribed according to StVZO. The secutex warning bar is attached onto the two prong tips and simply secured against the forklift’s shield with the permanently mounted lashing straps. The warning colour yellow and the black warning crosshatching make the bar very visible.
